Vibrant jewel toned ensemble from Yves Saint Laurent’s “High Seas Chic” RTW Spring 1978 collection. Purple pleated silk georgette sleeveless tunic with matching purple satin trim. Silk satin high waisted straight plated leg pants. Belt waist on pants with double grommets. Pants can be tightened on either side with waist adjusters. Pant hem is raw and can be fitted to you personally by a tailor. Zipper fly. Unlined. Top is sheer and can be worn as a dress with a slip underneath. Excellent vintage condition. Made in France. Marked size FR 38, fits like a US size 2 4. This collection is highly documented and shown in museums across the globe.
