Maroon, blue and rust paisley printed silk smock dress from the 1976 Yves Saint Laurent Russian collection. The collection was inspired by Russian folk dress and Léon Bakst’s costumes for the Ballet Russes. Full-skirted, billowing ensembles in vibrant jewel tones were styled with an array of shawls, head scarves, fur hats, and tasseled passementerie belts. This dress features a high ruffle collar with a keyhole and pussy bow neck tie, bishop shape sleeves and a loose body with a ruffle hem. Excellent vintage condition. Made in France. Marked FR size 40. Fits US size 4-12 depending how you prefer fit.
